Project

The project used photovoltaic energy to supply 100% of the energy demand.

The electrical energy is generated from photovoltaic solar panels installed on the building, which help reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The project should include side and front openings to improve the quality of natural ventilation and satisfy thermal comfort. 

Natural ventilation can provide multiple benefits, such as reduced energy consumption and improved indoor air quality, which can contribute to the health and well-being of the people living in the building.

Challenges

The site was selected for its community connectivity, with a pre-existing building already in place prior to ProximityParks.

Solution

30% of the materials from the previous building were reused to generate as little waste as possible.

This reduces the amount of waste generated in the demolition process, which can contribute to a decrease in the amount of waste sent to landfills and, therefore, reduce the environmental impact.

Results

The warehouse functions as a warehouse for a company dedicated to the distribution of errand items. The project is located in the historic area of Coyoacán, which provides a strategic and central location for the distribution of its products. With this convenient location, the company can ensure that its products reach its customers quickly and efficiently.
