Genomma Lab Industrial Complex
Genomma Lab Internacional, S.A.B. de C.V., a leading company in the pharmaceutical and personal care industry in Mexico, obtained the EDGE Certification (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) for all its main buildings, which include the Pharmaceutical Plant, the Personal Care Plant and the Distribution Center.
This certification recognizes the design and resource efficiency of eco-efficient buildings. The EDGE seal of approval is awarded to buildings that demonstrate resource efficiency of at least 20% in energy, water and embodied energy in materials.
Genomma Lab's Industrial Complex becomes the first Pharmaceutical Plant in the western hemisphere to meet the rigorous standards established by this certification.

PERSONAL CARE PLANT
Achieved 31% in energy savings, 52% in water savings and the use of 41% less energy incorporated in materials vs. market. Saving 86.64 tons of CO₂ per year.
DISTRIBUTION CENTER
The design achieved 45% in energy savings, 37% in water savings and the use of 42% less embodied energy in materials vs. market. As a result, 33.13 tons of CO₂ per year will be saved.
PHARMACEUTICAL PLANT
Obtained EDGE Advanced certification, achieving 26% in energy savings, 54% in water savings and the use of 38% less embodied energy in materials vs. market. Saving 227.29 tons of CO₂ per year.
