We worked together with Avery Dennison and FINSA on this project. FINSA is a leader in the development of industrial real estate projects and manages one of the largest portfolios in Latin America. Avery Dennison Corporation is a global company specializing in digital identification and material science solutions. Its focus includes a wide range of innovations that optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, foster sustainability, promote the circular economy, improve transparency and strengthen the connection between brands and consumers.
Process
What was done in the project?
In this project, 77.28 tons of waste were diverted from the municipal landfill, contributing to waste reduction and promoting sustainability. Part of this waste was recycled in the form of tiles donated to a nearby public school, delivering a total of 100 tiles. In addition, the project is powered by renewable energy through solar panels, which cover approximately 10% of the building's energy consumption. To contribute to the reduction of the heat island phenomenon, the parking lot floor was built with adocrete, a material that allows water infiltration. The selection of sustainable materials, from paints to furniture, meets the highest sustainability standards. Thanks to these and other strategies, the project achieved LEED Gold® level certification, reflecting its commitment to the environment and energy efficiency.
Results
This project has not only been a success in terms of construction, but also in its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Through various innovative strategies, significant results were achieved that not only reduce the environmental impact, but also benefit the local community.
